Sports Betting Bonus FAQ

Here you can find the answers to some of the most frequently asked question about sports betting bonuses in the USA!

Which betting sites give bonuses?

Almost every single betting site in the US offers some sort of new and/or existing customer betting bonus. However, betting bonuses can come in different types and values, so take a good look at our list of sports betting bonuses so you can find the best one for you!

Which betting site has the highest bonus?

Since betting sites are always changing their bonus offers, there is no concrete answer to this question. If you want to see which betting site currently is offering the highest value bonus, check out our list of sports betting bonuses!

How many betting bonuses can you claim?

In short, as many as you like!

Although betting operators restrict players to claiming one welcome bonus per site, you can sign up with as many betting sites as you can and are able to claim a welcome bonus for each site you sign up with!

Can you get a bonus bet from a bonus bet?

Typically, no. Most betting operators do not permit promotional offers to be combined and limit players to just one welcome bonus when signing up. Make sure to carefully read the terms and conditions of a promotional offer before taking part in it.

TYPES OF SPORT BETTING BONUSES

Risk Free Bet

The most common type of betting bonus, risk free bets offer you the perfect opportunity to go big on your first bet.

With a risk free bet, you will get your first wager refunded (up to a certain amount) if it loses, meaning you can comfortably bet a large amount without the risk (hence the name 'risk free bet') of coming up empty handed.

If you place your 'risk free bet' and it wins, you won't get anything refunded, but that's because your bet will be treated as a normal winning bet (spoiler alert, that means you won $$$).

Deposit Bonus

Deposit bonuses are pretty straightforward in how they work (they are also one of our favorite types of bonuses).

With a deposit bonus, the betting site will match your first deposit, up to a full 100% in most cases.

For example, let's say you take part in a '100% deposit bonus offer up to $500', and you deposit $250, the betting site would match your deposit and you would then essentially have $500 (the $250 you put in, plus the $250 the betting site matches your deposit with) in your account to bet with.

The great part of a deposit bonus is that it doesn't depend on you losing your first bet to cash in on the offer, unlike a risk free bet.

First Bet Match

Similar to a deposit bonus, first bet matches guarantee you will receive free bet credits regardless of whether your first wager wins or loses.

With a first bet match offer, the betting site will give you free bet credits worth the same amount of your first wager (up to a certain amount).

For example, if you place a $500 bet as your first bet, you would receive a $500 free bet credit(s) regardless of whether your first bet wins or loses.

No Deposit Bonus

No deposit bonuses are exactly what they sound like, a bonus that doesn't require you to deposit any money to claim it. Customers will get free bet credits just for creating an account, however, don't expect to receive a large amount.

Typically, new customers claiming a no deposit bonus will get something small, like a free $10 bet, that is usually wrapped in red tape and has a higher wagering requirement in order to convert the bonus cash into real cash.

These types of offers are small incentives to get new players to sign up who otherwise might not want to risk their own money.

While these offers are ok and can be really good, they are typically not our favorite type of bonus.
