What Is DraftKings' Grand Slam Payout?
Throughout the 2026 MLB season, U.S. sportsbook DraftKings is offering a massive Grand Slam Payout that lets bettors share a pool of $250,000 in Bonus Bets if their hitter gets a grand slam. If the day's slate contains no grand slams, the pool carries over to the next time the promotion is active, increasing the potential winnings even more.
The Grand Slam Payout is a recurring promotion, but DraftKings does not specify which dates it will be active. This means that users will have to keep visiting the sportsbook before upcoming games and check the promotions tab in order to opt in.
The Grand Slam Payout will be offered periodically at DraftKings Sportsbook. The promo is available up until the start of the final MLB game on active days.
Rules & How To Opt In For The Grand Slam Payout
This promotion is available for new and existing account-holders at DraftKings Sportsbook. Opt-in is required on every day that the promo is active. In order for bets to qualify, the promo token has to be applied to the bet slip before placing an eligible wager.
Opting In For DraftKings Grand Slam Payout:
- Sign up or log in to DraftKings Sportsbook. Make sure your account is verified and funded so you can place a $5+ wager.
- Head to the Promotions Tab and click the promo.
- Opt in to receive your Token.
- Use your Token when placing a pre-game home run batter prop. Eligible bets are singles, parlays, SGPs and SGPx.
- Cheer for your batter to hit a grand slam.
Eligible wagers need to be valued at $5 or more, with a maximum of 3 legs, to qualify. Live bets, cashed out bets, voided bets and bets placed with Odds Boosts or other promotional funds (except DK Dollars) are non-eligible.
Keep in mind: The stake is removed from Bonus Bets at DraftKings. Meaning that if you win a $25 Bonus Bet on +100 odds, you receive $25 in cash profit, not $50.
How The Bonus Bets Are Distributed
The $250,000 in Bonus Bets are equally distributed between bettors that placed a qualifying wager on a player that hit a grand slam.
Payout per winner = $250,000 / the number of players
Let's say there were 10,000 winners. Each will then receive $250,000 / 10,000 = $25 in Bonus Bets (if the pool rolled over to $500,000, that payout doubles to $50 per winner).
Clarifying The Terms & Conditions
Home run batter props. Singles, Parlays, SGPx, or SGPs with a minimum value of $5 and a maximum of 3 legs. Pre-game bets only.
Bets must be placed with cash balance or DK Dollars. Bets placed with other bonus rewards are void. Cashed out bets and voided bets will void this promotion.
If multiple players hit a grand slam in the day's games, the current Bonus Bet prize pool is split across all bettors that placed a qualified bet on those players.
Your bet will still be marked as a win/loss depending on if your player hits a home run. If there's no grand slam, the prize pool carries over to the next day the promotion is offered.
For example: Let's say that there are no grand slams on the first active day of the promotion. The $250,000 carries over, and the next time there will be a prize pool of $500,000 in Bonus Bets to share.
Winners will be credited within 72 business hours. Bonus Bets are non-withdrawable and expire in 7 days. The stake is removed from payout. Bonus Bets may be issued as 1 or multiple equal amount Bonus Bets.
Yes, in order to participate, users must visit the promotions tab, opt in to claim a promo token, and apply the token to an eligible bet for that day's games. This has to be done on every day the promotion is active.
Yes. Qualifying Bet Tokens expire at the start of the final MLB game of the slate. Even if you opt in and claim your token, you will need to use it when placing a bet before the day's last game starts.

In order to join the Grand Slam Payout, players need to be verified account-holders with DraftKings Sportsbook, of legal age, and physically located in a state where the operator is licensed to operate.
