What Is BetMGM's Second Chance For Golf?
Throughout the 2026 PGA golf season, BetMGM Sportsbook offer a unique promotion that lets players bet on their favorite golfer for the week's upcoming tournament, and if they finish 2nd instead, you get your bet refunded in cash.
From January to August, every weekly pick gets a second chance. If your golfer loses in a playoff, they count as 2nd place, so you still qualify. If they tie for second, you qualify. If your pick wins, you win. Any cash back is cash/unrestricted funds, not Bonus Bets. This means that you're free to withdraw the full amount refunded.
How Does The Second Chance Cash Back Work?
- Sign up or log in to your BetMGM account.
- Make sure your account is verified.
- Pick a Tournament Winner bet between Monday-Wednesday on a tournament week.
- If your golfer finishes 2nd (including ties), you get your stake back in cash.
Only wagers made between the Monday 12 AM EST and Wednesday 11:59 PM EST of a week directly preceding a tournament are eligible for Second Chance. Futures (bets made before the tournament week) or bets places after Wednesday do not qualify for the second chance that week.

This golf promotion is available between January 12 and August 30, 2026, and is valid for PGA Tour Events throughout the 2026 season. This includes:

Eligibility
